| | Maxwell turned nine on Sunday April 5th, we had a full weekend. My dad, sister Laynie, and nieces Cailee and Kennedi drove in from Texas to celebrate. On Max's actual birthday the 5th, my gift to him was a birthday party held at Pump It Up in Pelham. He had 38 friends come to celebrate, it was what I like to call, joyful choas. The sweaty birthday boy! The party was Army themed. We had cupcakes, Max's cupcake in the picture was a special one just for him featuring an American flag and a fighter jet.
The tower of cupcakes. The icing was camoflauge and each cupcake had a little plastic army man on it. My friend Jan Moon who owns Dream Cakes in Cahaba Heights, she made the cupcakes.
Max coming down the inflatable slide upside down, with Jackson and Cailee. Pump It Up is an indoor facility filled with giant inflatables. The kids play for an hour and a half jumping, running, sliding. It's great fun for all.
My Dad, me and my dear friend Ted. Ted drove from Huntsville for Max's birthday.

The most recent addition to our family, my niece Kennedi.
Maxwell and mom!
The party was the best gift I could think to give Max. Time to celebrate him and the young man he is becoming, and for him to be surrounded by lots of people who love him. His last single digit birthday, my my... the days have passed quickly.
