“You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally by the time you are real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all; because once you are real you can’t ever be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.” Velveteen Rabbit

Giants...

Maxwell just wrapped up his Spring baseball season, a couple of weeks ago. It was a wonderful addition to our growing years of him playing, and this year they started kid pitching so it was a new adventure. Here are some photos from his second play off game.

Max gets to choose his jersey number each year. This year we were discussing which number he would be and we decided on the #13. I was diagnosed with cancer on Friday May 13th, 2005 and have done all I can to turn that perceived negative number, into a positive. So Maxwell playing as #13, only furthers that mission. He will play as #13 from here on out.

I look forward to many more team jerseys.
